About Sarah Atherton

Hello! I’m Get Your Game On Ltd.

I’m a games enthusiast, reviewer and small independent retailer!

Born and bred in London, I’ve done lots of different things in my life including a first career as a drama and psychology teacher in London schools, working in Whitehall, investigating complaints and being a mum!

At the moment I’m working as the manager of Freshwater Theatre Company and running GYGOL!

Get Your Game On Ltd is my first small business. It’s a labour of love, a new challenge, a massive learning experience but I feel passionate about it and I love being part of the board gaming community which is often welcoming, supportive and caring.

Games without frontiers…right? I’m all about including, sharing and inviting everyone to take part…and I want to bring games and the joy of playing them to everyone. You are never too old or too young to learn the rules, pull up a chair and have fun.

I game, you game, we all game! The games I sell can be played alone, in pairs, in groups, at home, on the move, on special occasions or just for the fun of it!

And when I’m not getting my game on, I’m working alongside my other half, bringing up my daughter and supporting my local community - it’s all about shop local, support the high street and champion the small business in our house.

And talking of small…this is small me at my first proper birthday party…feeling excited and about to play party games…I stock some great party games…including by Big Potato and Stuff by Bez!

This is a great website, with a good selection of interesting games for children and adults. I like the mix of competitive and co-operative games. The descriptions and reviews of the games are particularly helpful to enable you to make an appropriate choice. The website is clear and easy to navigate. I chose some excellent games which arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. I am recommending this to my friends.
